Hillary Clinton Can Make Money off Supporters Email Addresses

Hillary Clinton Privacy Policy Reveals Potential Money Maker
We took a look at the Privacy Policy on Hillary Clinton’s website, and compared it to Donald Trump’s. The devil is in the details with yet another “Clinton email” alert that would cause anyone to raise an eyebrow. This one involves her supporters information being potentially sold for profit in the future.
Let’s review three different types of Privacy Policies.
1- TrumpSupporters Policy:
Do you notice that we do not have a Privacy Policy on our page? That is because we specifically prevent you from contacting TrumpSupporters.com site or typing in your private information.
We have absolutely no access to your email if you visit the site, unless you provide it to us privately by leaving a comment. If you leave a comment, your general location is logged with your email address, however, we will not contact you, or provide your information to anyone, unless a direct or implied threat is made against Trump, his affiliates, his companies, and/or unless someone’s safety is at risk. For example: terrorist or security threats would be immediately reported to lawful authorities. Other than that, your information is kept confidential, between you and TrumpSupporters.com website.
TrumpSupporters.com does not sell anything, collect money or allow credit card information on our website. Advertising Ads appear on our site, however, these are ads run by Google and their affiliates, and Google pays us a few cents if you click an ad, which is called “monetization”. If our domain name were to be sold or transferred, any information that identifies your email or IP address would be destroyed prior to transfer.
Trump Official Site Strict Privacy Policy
Trump has taken measures to ensure that, since he now accepts donations, his visitors know that their information is kept securely protected through highly secure SSL encryption. An excerpt from his official website even shows visitors how to look for a safety feature when entering credit card information:
From DonaldJTrump.com official site:
Securing the Transmission and Storage of Information: In limited circumstances, we may collect payment information such as credit card numbers and billing information where needed to complete a transaction such as making an online contribution. Your payment information is transferred over a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) line provided you are using a SSL enabled browser. This ensures that your information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will know you are in secure mode when the padlock or key icon in the lower right-hand or left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position.
Email Sharing
Donald Trump official site fully discloses that they may share your email with other parties. Nothing is disclosed about potential sales wherein Trump would make profit off his Supporters. In fact, the disclosure on DonaldJTrump.com website is as follows:
E-Mail: When you provide your e-mail address, we will occasionally contact you via e-mail and provide information or updates that may be of interest to you. We use a third party e-mail service provider to send e-mails. This service provider is prohibited from using your e-mail address for any purpose other than to send our e-mail. Every time you receive e-mail you will be provided the choice to opt-out of future e-mails by following the instructions provided in the e-mail. We may share your email address or other personal information with like-minded organizations.
Hillary Clinton Privacy Policy: Your Email May Be Sold
Upon closer examination of the Privacy Policy language on Hillary Clinton’s website, it has been uncovered that she may sell her Supporters email address and other information for profit. More specifically, Clinton’s website states that they may share your information:
- In connection with, or during negotiations of, any reorganization, formation of new committee or successor organization, asset sale or transfer, financing or lending transaction or in any other situation where personal information may be disclosed or transferred as one of the assets of HFA;
Clinton establishes in her policy that the email addresses and private information that she retains on her website are considered “assets”. Assets usually hold value. The last part of her disclosure in the above paragraph warns that Supporters’ private information may be transferred as an asset in any situation.
Did you sign a Hillary Clinton petition? Clinton’s website states that your information can be given away,
“including your comments, name, city, and state to national, state or local leaders, or to the press.”
Clinton may also give her Supporter’s information to:
- Vendors
- Volunteers
- Consultants
- Organizations
- Service providers
- Candidates
- Campaigns
- Groups
- Causes
- Fundraising committee participants
- Subpoenas, court orders, warrants
- and more.
With this in mind, be cautious about visiting Hillary Clinton’s website, as you do not know where your information will end up.
Take the Poll
Wait. Did you know?
Politico outlined how candidates make money off email lists. For instance, Walker makes some fat cash by sending out a mass email to his list on behalf of another party. Rubio pays for emails to be sent. Campaign managers rake in cash when you make a donation to your party, while you’re thinking that your party is collecting the cash.
